This week we celebrate our 3 year anniversary. We are all grown up now….so grown up in fact that we have a newly constructed wall in our showroom that doubles as a storefront window display wall. So you know what that means…..be on the lookout for creative and inspirational window displays. And being that time of the year is approaching so quickly, our first display is a Christmas window!
It’s a very simple, yet sophisticated Christmas display. The wall is painted in a very nontraditional shade of Christmas green. For those of you wondering, we used Sherwin Williams’ “Organic Green” as our backdrop. Painted on top are crisp white silhouettes of trees. Hanging in front of the wall are over 100 hand-drawn, painted and glittered cardstock ornaments. We used traditional ornament shapes, but also couldn’t resist creating ornaments shaped like a “W”! We feel that the simplicity and glamour of our window reflects Livable. High Fashion. Comfort.
We were inspired by window displays from both a national and local level. Baton Rouge’s Stella Boutique’s fall window display inspired the hanging ornaments.
Also, we love every single display that Anthropologie has created. They like to use everyday objects and turn them into amazing displays of creativity and whimsy. This inspired us to create our own ornaments from cardstock, which was just lying around, instead of purchasing store-bought ones, which would have definitely been the easy way out! We love the idea of using what you have to create something beautiful.
